I realize that, but Gold medals have a funny way of motivating people. She’s still playing in China next season, so that’s encouraging. Now we wait to see what Kim Hill has in plans, if she plans to announce it publicly. I wished KK could’ve let her swing just once during the Olympics… We know Lowe is done. I don’t think she is playing In china (or we don’t know yet) Her team signed KYK and they’ll presumably sign an opposite (or Larson too I guess) but nothing is official yet

If MBH keeps up her passing prowess, I think she is more likely to replace Larson. I mean, several of our opponents opted to serve Larson instead of MBH because she was passing so well this year. I think KRob will have a place on the roster for awhile, she may not be the best at anything but she's so good as so many things. Since we don’t seem to sub much would there ever be a case where KRob DS’s for a more powerful outside? I mean some of these Olympic Games USA used no subs or one to serve. Short answer yes, if numbers work. But that is so tough internationally, with their sub rules

I definitely see Jordan L. and Foluke playing through the 2022 World Championships. THEN, if the team wins again, they will probably stick it out until Paris. Just watch. I mean, Danielle Scott-Arruda was what? 39 in London? More and more players are playing deeper into their 30's now than probably ever. Plus, with technology athletes are able to rehab injuries much quicker and thus reduce the wear and tear of years of playing professionally.
I have always felt that Jordan L. and Foluke were two of the sparks that ignited this team. Who knew it just took a bit of shuffling to the supporting cast in order to find the gold medal winning combination. Foluke and Jordan L. are the key. I'm just SOOOO HAPPY for Team USA right now! They made the best of the extra year and showed true grit through Tokyo. Congrats to all who helped that happen, including Karch. He definitely deserves his due of the credit.

I really don't see this team changing all that much. The real question is who is going to fill Kim Hill's role and what MB and L/OH5 did we leave at home?
I selfishly wish the rosters remained at 14 for the OG's but that is a WHOLE other argument.
I'm pumped for this next quad ya'll!

Anyone want to see Karch coach the team to another gold at Paris?
