Krob about to win 3 olympic medals in a row and will have never started at an Olympics?! That's crazy. I think May could give her a run for her money with two and a half pro seasons under her belt. We shall see if May becomes a starter or if she is just on the roster, but I think she is definitely in the conversation. Her all around game and volleyball IQ are pretty great. IMO if there were to be a collegiate outside to make the roster, I think Eggleston would be ahead of May. May is totally part of the future of USA volleyball but I think Logan is better at this point (obviously Paris is 3 years away and I could totally be proven wrong by how they play internationally) I'm curious as to what parts of Eggleston's current game is that far, if at all, better than May's?

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere Does anyone remember the feature they did on Feng Kun in the 2004 Olympics? She was the last one off the 2000 China squad, devastated at the time, but it motivated her to work hard to earn her spot in the 2004 games, where she started and led China to gold. Hoping for something similar for Carlini. Edit, she was left off the 2000 Olympics and came back to win gold in 2004.

Youngsters are Kadochkina (I think she's on the Euro's roster) There are two sisters that are promising, the Gatina's, but they're having visa issues. They were born in Crimea.

That sounds promising. Anything starting with a G and ending with an A has been solid for mother Russia.

I don't follow the foreign leagues very closely. Has Frantti really been doing that well professionally? I've seen her name come up a couple of times in this thread. After her lackluster final couple of seasons at Penn State, I'm kind of surprised she's still playing. She's a completely different player now. People are right to be excited about her. Doing my research and digging through previous threads to call this one out. Frantti still deserves a Paris ticket.
