I really don’t want to get into the Carlini stuff…. Because, really, no one should care But she’s getting ready to leave for Turkey. Same reason why Kingdon isn’t there. It is- this is crazy, first you had a bunch of people trashing Karch for years saying he was a bad coach, then you have people trashing him for not choosing Carlini, now Carlini is a terrible selfish teammate because she was left off a gold medal roster and didn't appear in some of the few stories from the celebration they had in which it seems people were surprised Courtney was there. C'mon people, first of all who cares if she's a little bitter that she got left off a team that won a gold medal when it has been her dream hanging an Olympic flag in her bedroom, any of you would feel the same. She is a competitor, of course it stings, but that does not mean she won't still be supporting her teammates and friends considering she will be playing with/against them during pro seasons and also undoubtedly be in the gym training with them whether she is on the roster for Paris or not as iron sharpens iron. Anyone here fishing for drama because an adult got cut from a team competing at the highest level possible on the worlds biggest stage needs to get a life. All fair and good, but being bitter because you didn’t make the team isn’t an excuse. You don’t think that the other 22 women on the roster had Olympic dreams too? I hate that narrative of “it’s been her dream”…guess what? It’s been all of their dreams too, but the way she’s choosing to portray herself somewhat solidifies why she didn’t make Tokyo and the other two did. Yea but we have absolutely no idea how she is supporting her teammates and friends, it is just baseless accusations made by a bunch of people on a message board. And who cares if she is salty, any one of you here would be salty you didn't make a roster that won gold - I know I would. |
