Right now Evandro and Alvaro are playing Pedro and Arthur and I think are losing in the third 9-6.

Wow they just lost 18-16. Pedro is still a beast at only 6'4. Man that guy knows how to win.

Evandro and Alvaro beat Andre and George relatively easily (21-17, 21-12) to make it to semis. Alison and Guto fell to Oscar and Saymon also in two. They would play each other had both advanced.

I got to watch the second set and Evandro and Alvaro looked solid. Didn't seem like that match was ever in trouble at all. I wonder if they will get a rematch in the finals against Arthur and Pedro. That would be fun.

Rebecca and Talita took the title among the women beating Carol and Barbara in the final. Men's gold went to Vitor Felipe and Renato, who beat Evandro and Alvaro in three.

Ana Patricia needs to have a better attitude if she wants to succeed with Duda. I can't see Duda dealing with Ana Patricia's bad attitude for 2 years. But maybe Ana will be very happy to be pairing with Duda and starts being positive like Agatha.

Many brazilian players are known to be moody and bad team mates at times. Unfortunately it has always been like that (at least as far as I can tell as an outside spectator).

But maybe Ana will be very happy to be pairing with Duda and starts being positive like Agatha. If she wants to dominate week to week she does, and I hate her attitude and the way she quit at the Olympics but with her talent, even the way she is now, they will win plenty. Agatha is an excellent player, and that team has had a ton of success, but there was too much point scoring onus on Duda. Agatha just didn't occupy the space players like Pavs, Joanna, Alix and Brandie do. Ana does. I'd be very surprised if they win less than a third of the events they enter, even with her crummy attitude. Comparing them to the Ateam, current world no. 1, Duda is a better defender, server and attacker than April and has room to grow. Ana is about even with Alix in siding out and blocking, although both are very inconsistent, slow, and neither is a ball control wiz - although Ana does handset sometimes. Other than not having Ana's attitude, not sure where the Ateam really has an advantage over this team.
