I noticed that Batenhorst only did tips during the warm ups and she did have her hand/wrist wrapped during the red-white

Good thing BTN+ informed us Rodriguez had 0 kills and 0 blocks. Yeah, that graphic made me laugh too.

Orr still has a ways to go but I was very impressed with her running the 5-1. Lexi Sun is finally able to take huge rips again. Ball distribution is very smooth for a freshmen. She knows how to run her offense. Her location needs a little more consistency at times- hoping this improve as her mobility comes back. She seems to read the game fairly well tho, and can get her hitters in 1v1 or open net situations. She’s gonna be tough, along with Roddy😍 Ohh…but how could I forget the Akana serve is lethal, Callie SchwarzenBLOCK MVP, Krause is a stud. I’m just speechless with Nebraska’s talent this year. GBR!

I’m sure Orr’s location will get better. If you had watched the setter’s warm up before the rest of the team came out Orr’s location was impressive. The guys catching her balls after she set them very seldom even had to take one step before catching the ball.

I’m not arguing that her location wont improve and I’m sure it will but just basing that off warm ups with tosses right on her head isn’t a great way to judge. I would hope any decent setter over the age of 16 could set a ball to a target off of a warm up toss lol. If the guys were having to move that would be a problem.

Noticed Orr did not signal sets to the hitters. Seemed more like they told her before serve receive what to set. Anyone else notice that?

Agree Confident Orr will improve. 6-2 may not be her thing, but 5-1 is the future anyway. Swartzenbach's arm speed looked much improved. She appeared to be a more reactive and athletic player than previously. It appears she has put on more muscle. Krause excelled at blocking, hitting and back row play. Very impressive, especially for a freshman.

The balls weren't just being tossed to either setter as they weren't just standing there waiting for the balls to come to them.

She is going to have a tremendous senior year - GO CALLIE !!!

Chris Marlowe would have called that last Krause block a “roof with an extended awning!” I didn't see this from yesterday but it's a great comment. GBR!
