Does Orzol play for the Badgers this Friday? If so, does she start? God, I hope so. This doesn’t give me confidence that she’s going to play this weekend.

I don't think it's that dramatic of a difference, but without her, the Badgers pass with 2 correct? plus seems like she's more terminal on the left than either of the other two. Wisky needs her all-around play.

I don’t know that Rettke has seen as good of a back tight defender as Tharp in some time. She might struggle *more than she usually does*

With Orzoł - Badgers in 4. Without her: Cats in 3. Seriously? The Badgers can’t win a set without Orzol? Wow. I’m thinking they can show up and do better than that. in any case, it’s the third weekend…some things are going to get decided by the end of the Sunday match with Marquette.

I said that favorite sharp angle shot might not find the floor *as much* against a top 3 right back defender in the country. Idk why you’re laughing as if Tharp isn’t very good lol

With Orzoł - Badgers in 4. Without her: Cats in 3. I agree with the first, but I'm gonna say WI in 5 for the second.

Riah Walker has 8 aces for the Wildcats for a .44/set average on the season so far, with Stumler in 2nd. Who else is a serving threat for Kentucky?

UW has been unusually good about not giving up aces this season so far. We'll see if that keeps up.
If teams play according to form of the last match, I think the badgers win. Kentucky against Creighton was not the Kentucky from the last NC, but things change quickly this time of year.
Orzol allows the badgers to play a very different system that provides real solidity in serve receive. She is definitely an asset. If she can't play, the badgers often pass with two, which is less solid, but it worked out pretty well by end of this weekend.
Demps outperformed Loberg last match (though Loberg was getting some real dirty garbage a lot of the time). It raises the possibility of a Demps/Orzol pairing.
