Hmm didn’t get to watch the USD losses to Utah or Texas but they look really good here. Also USD has more to lose UCLA has the Ga Tech win and plenty of opportunity to make noise with wins in the PAC. USD only has USC left of note for pre conference and who knows about them and then limited opportunities after that to shake the table

May I feel could be like a real superstar but she lacks killer instinct I want to see her pound it and really get after it sometimes she’s too safe

Shelby Martin needs to continue pushing the tempo for these UCLA girlies. So many times they have a decent pass is just barely off the net and the pins are coming in to hit their tempo in-system balls and she’s feeding them high balls. At least her location looks good so hopefully this can get better (but honestly UCLA will just never be a good setting team I fear  ) Conflicted on Emily Ryan losing the middle starting spot to Dodson and the freshman. Ryan can have pretty low low’s but I feel like she always has the potential to greatly affect the match (more than the starting two) with her blocking and her sharp angles that can cut away from double blocks. Hopefully she gets some playing time |

Also, Drews for Utah has that killer instinct, too. I've seen May look better, though. This is a bad match to go by. Honestly, it's still only mid way through the second set, but this is my favorite match of the year so far. This is fun. |
