I took a chance and put one vote on Oregon. It's only taking a chance if there's a downside for you being wrong. So clearly, you want us to remember your choice and abuse you horrifically if it flames out. This is just the kind of crowd that can help out with that. Oooo. Rough crowd for a Thursday morning.

Texas and Wisconsin should be barring an extinction level event happening between now and December Pitt and Baylor will yet again find a way to lose when they shouldn't. Hope not but history suggests it will be so Florida will need to draft somebody or make a trade to pass the ball so Monserez can set it badly to their awesome pins OSU has the tools and looks very good but are still unproven Nebraska/Stanford/Kentucky - who knows? All have the players to do it but seem to be struggling to find out what they want to be this year Louisville is a real wild card. They have performed really well the past 2 years in the tournament. Last night's 5th set 8-0 run to close it out gives me hope that they won't get "Bogo'ed" again Utah/Washington - cannot get a read on where they belong yet. Well, with Danielle Hart tearing her ACL, is this the ELE I mentioned for Wisconsin? Or can Freshman Smrek fill the void?

I'm going Texas, Stanford, Louisville, Florida.
Florida might seem like a longshot, but I think the seniors on this team (Hall, Cesar, Forte, etc.) will have this team peaking come tournament time. For Stanford, getting Francis back helps a lot, and Kipp/Baird cannot be overlooked. Texas is... end of sentence. They've got the full package. I don't see anyone beating this team any time soon. Louisville impressed me with its win over Purdue, and they did it quite handily, too.

Texas goes on the road to play Baylor in consecutive matches in Waco on Nov 5-6. If Baylor can run the table, those two matches could very well determine the top seed in the NCAA tournament out of the Big 12. Those two wins at Florida were important for setting the rest of the season for the Bears. What Baylor has going for it is it's arrived at a line-up. Yossie should have always been on the right, but makes even more sense having two left side players who can pass. If they can get middle production both blocking and occasionally offensively, they'll be playing well into the tournament. lol until up-trending Stanford gets sent to Madison.

I wouldn't doubt it if Pitt makes it to the FF as well. They've got some quality wins this year and were just a few points shy from the FF last year. All of the major role players are back from that team as well. With the addition of Gray from Penn State and Member-Meneh from Mizzou, they just might have added the missing pieces to get them to the FF this year.

I voted for Wisconsin, Louisville, BYU, and Stanford. I think these teams both have high ceiling in terms of how much more they can improve over the season + the ability to be composed/stable during crucial moments.
Let’s see how many I get right.

This is the best I have seen the Gophers back row defense, serve receive, and passing in quite a few years. Jenna Wenaas is the real deal and if Landfair can get healthy, the Gophers can definitely make the Final Four.
Wish list: Avoid going to Madison for a regional final.
