Thanks for putting this together B1Gminnesotafan ! A couple of adjustments to Michigan's lineup: - Michigan has been running a 5-1 all season with Johnson, so we are unlikely to see Dowd.
- Although still listed on the roster, Kayla Bair has been absent all season. Freshman Jacque Boney (#17) now starts at MB.
- DS Brooke Humphrey is used exclusively as a serving specialist; Haley Hallgren (#16) is the primary DS, sometimes replaced by Amber Beals (#10)
I'll have a lot more to say about Michigan's chances later this week. Go Blue!

And can they plan to start at 8:10 PM? Not thinking the Ohio State at Purdue match will end early. I am really looking forward to the doubleheader on tv!

This is a tough opening draw for Michigan's B1G season. Blue has a young team and their inexperience has shown throughout the non-conference schedule with their inconsistent play. Their most experienced veteran Paige Jones has been pulled from the back row; Jess Mruzik has quietly taken over the team's leadership on the floor and in the box score. Johnson is still finding her rhythm in an offense that often shoots itself in the foot; averaging more than 9 attack errors and nearly 4 service errors per set. But they have also shown flashes of brilliance, making them dangerous on any given night. Blocking has been much improved from a conference worst last season, but passing remains a significant concern. Hoping we can squeak out a set tonight. Go Blue!

Heads up for anyone heading to the Pav - it's Homecoming and it appears the University Ave Parking Ramp will be unaccessible from 6-8 pm. Parking anywhere is going to be a mess tonight, FYI. Homecoming parade and concert, football game tomorrow (so a lot of alumni in town) and there’s a cross-country meet and tennis meet this weekend with 15+ other colleges. |

Not sure if this true (probably not?) but Taylor Landfair’s sister commented on her post saying “when you hurt your ab and ur not even playing”. So, I guess we shouldn’t expect Taylor Landfair tonight. And seems like it is still injury related… :/ unfortunate |
