I don't think he knows how to make crucial adjustments. If Kubiak was hurt during the olympics, why still use him? Semeniuk is decent in that position. Let him make mistakes during the game, at least he was healthy during that time.

Am I the biggest fan of Heynen? no. To be honest his peak has been in the last two world championships, where he did very well and/or exceeded expectations. There is really no stability in international/pro coaching other than guys named Alekno or Rezende.
Perugia is run by a guy, Circi, that likes to choose coaches based on his mood in the morning. I think Heynen overachieved based on his lineup.
