When will we know if Moscow's forfeit goes through? it didn't go through. Moscow are in the quarterfinals, Novara aren't. Thanks. I missed you all. I'm pissed with the CEV, though, even if Novara dug their own grave. I'll be rooting for Monza all the way now.

Regardless of the shadiness. Novara was always in command.. way too much talent on that roster to have not qualified, imo. That management and coaching staff needs a moment to reflect.

And, more importantly, when you see Gonchorova digging balls, you know it's over.

Long love the queen!

Long love the queen! she’s an icon for what she did to the usa this last Olympics too That win for Russia at the OG's was a long time coming. In 2018 at the WCH's, USA barely won in 5. At the World Cup in 2019, USA won in 5 with the 5th set being a blowout. In Tokyo, USA was rattled from Thompson's injury but Russia played a near flawless match. I wonder if Terzic will be able to replicate that recent success and elevate the program? I have my doubts, but I'll bet he can pull it off. They will at least be in the medal conversation again, especially if Goncho and Startseva keep playing.

CEV made a sorta statement on Russia (they're not moving any matches)
“Despite the circumstances, we would like to continue our support and promotion of the unifying power of sport in general, and volleyball in particular. As has been proven many times, and has recently been shown by competitors competing at the Beijing Olympics, sport can connect people. That is why we intend to continue to safely deliver the volleyball, beach volleyball and snowvolley experiences in Europe, while ensuring cooperation, solidarity and common respect among all members of our volleyball family "

CEV Cup semifinals are tomorrow. Stuttgart-Mladost is at 12:30pm, idk if its streamed or not. This will be on Eurovolley TV. note: if you bought the Champions League package back in September... this match isn't covered by that subscription. you need the general eurovolley subscription for it.... (ill see if i can find a stream) if you have a german VPN, it'll be streamed on Youtube

Boskovic is just too much for Alba. Think she’s gotten a kill on every full swing she’s taken.
