Saliha should be in NT instead of Hande at the very least, she CAN’T be automatic starter this summer. VNL has got to be open competition between about 8 OHs |

She should be starting over Hande for evza good to hear. At this point the more options the better. Who would have predicted a Saliha/Tugba pairing going into the WCs at the beginning of this season, cuz theres a good chance if everyone gets a fair shot, thats who would win out. |

 ![]()  The town of Scandicci had another winning team, back in the 70s: Robur Scandicci, aka Valdagna Scandicci (by the name of the sponsorship), which won 3 Italian titles in a row (1973-74, 1974-75, 1975-76). Romanian legend Rodica Popa played for that team, together with Mariana Baga (also from Romania) and the Italians Eralda Camerin, Susanna Maré, Camilla Julli, Licia Natali, Cristina Lensi, Paola Dei (all of’em were/became part of Italy NT).  |

Is she eligible to join the NT this summer? I would think Guidetti would funnel her to the left pin. Is Boz retired from the NT? I know Naz is but if Eda and Boz are sticking around I think this is the best roster Turkey can field: S: Ozbay, Gulubay OH: Vargas, Baladin, Ismailoglu, Senoglu, S. Sahin MB: Erdem-Dundar, Gunes, Akman, Kalaç OPP: Karakurt, Boz L: Akoz What do you think? |

honestly...I genuinely believe Karakurt at OH and Vargas at OPP would be better than Vargas at OH and Karakurt at OPP
but that might be my anti-Vargas bias showing. I'd much rather see Turkey with Karakurt at OH and Caratasu at OPP. Just put Meliha at the second oh position and play Serbia-ball.

honestly...I genuinely believe Karakurt at OH and Vargas at OPP would be better than Vargas at OH and Karakurt at OPP but that might be my anti-Vargas bias showing. I'd much rather see Turkey with Karakurt at OH and Caratasu at OPP. Just put Meliha at the second oh position and play Serbia-ball. Vargas is most certainly going to elevate Turkey to one of the best teams in Europe. The one/two punch of Karakurt and Vargas is giving me Bosković/Mihajlović Rio Quad vibes but with a much more consistent supporting cast, which could really make some noise. Consistency has always been Turkey's issue. |

She’s not eligible for Turkey until next year from what ive seen though, so we get Boz for at least one more year, hopefully she gets a lot of court time (😥). I think going forward between Vargas and Karakurt we can expect one of the two to be elite in every game LOL. Buse Unal easily over Buket Gulubay for me but Guidetti probably disagrees, he is forcing her into every match that Cansu puts a foot wrong in. Outside hitter needs to be an open competition. The ones you mentioned of course, but Seyma Ercan should be in the mix, and Idil Naz should at least get a look. Unfortunately @basil, i love Alexia but i dont see where she fits in the future unless Karakurt or Vargas falls apart or massively improves their passing |
