I feel like that qualification stage at the beginning should be for like 10 teams, instead of just 2 teams. I think if we capped the CL qualified teams at 10 (3 from Turkey, 3 from Italy, 2 from Germany, and 2 from Poland) and forced a bunch of other teams to qualify for those last 10 spots in the pool play stage, the competition over all I feel like would be higher. I don't like how Guidetti said he didn't want to go to Finland just to play a 50 minute match, but also he kinda spilled lol. We shouldn't have to watch those matches where a top team can basically play their entire bench and pull off a sweep when it's the Champions League.

I don't see Kara pulling another stellar performance against Vakifbank, but I'm glad that she's getting a lot more attention  I have been rooting for her since she was a freshman! |

She seems to be gaining more confidence in big matches, you never know! She had a big match on both passing and her offense. I am not sure how much Vakifbank scouted her before this last match, but I am sure they will make adjustments to defend Kara better. Also, I usually lower my expectations before matches like this, so I won't be disappointed lol. I hope she has another great game and will definitely watch live. |
