It will all even itself out in the end, but yeah this one week doesn't look great for you. I guess we could do a "Points Per Week Played" that would average out the bye-week stuff. No, it's fine lol. Just don't like seeing my name down there... Also, to comment on the point system again because I had a thought- you could theoretically go undefeated in the league and yet not come in first because of points, right? That would suck lol. I still think the points system makes the most sense, but there are rare occasions where it seems to not be right Yeah, theoretically that could happen. I bet some math nerd could figure out the chances, but I'm guessing they're pretty low. I think the solution would be to have less members in the league and allow for a Final 4 bracket where head to head is all that matters. I think that would completely eliminate the chance, but it would also take a few spots away. Maybe that makes the 'club' more exclusive and makes the stakes for winning even higher, but maybe that's not the point. Good hypothetical though.

I think that would completely eliminate the chance, but it would also take a few spots away. Maybe that makes the 'club' more exclusive and makes the stakes for winning even higher, but maybe that's not the point. Good hypothetical though. I ran some scenarios cause I'm bored at work... - If someone went 14-0, but won all of their matches 3-2, they'd end up with 28 points. This is the least amount of points you can score and be undefeated.
- Someone else could go 9-5, winning 9 matches 4-1/5-0, losing one match 2-3, and losing the rest 1-4/0-5 and also end up with 28 points. This is the most losses you can have and tie for 1st place in this scenario.
- Someone could go 10-4, wining 9 matches 4-1/5-0, winning one match 3-2, and losing the rest 1-4/0-5 and end up with 29 points, enough for 1st place in this scenario.
Granted, the chances of this happening are so ridiculously low. But yeah, theoretically someone 10-4 could win the league over someone else who is undefeated at 14-0. How crazy would that be. Most likely, if either of these things happened, someone else who ended up, say 12-2 could end up with 38 points and crush them both. But maybe with 14 people, this isn't actually possible. I didn't run EVERY scenario haha

We shall see. I've been stomping in kills, and my blocking numbers always suck. Aces will be big. I thought about trying out all three setters for the head-to-head matchup, but yours are all better than mine and USC is such a question mark lol. Podraza has been absolutely frying in assists, but I wonder if she'll ever decide to serve a ball in bounds.

P.S. shoutout to shhhhhhhhh & donut for all the work they already did for the league this season! Not going to lie, this hurts. I wasn't asked if I wanted to continue admining, and had to essentially ask if league members were talking sans me about keeping the league going because of not-so-subtle messages in the league thread I created for the league I helped run for almost 2 months. Seems strange for the participants who quit to be invited back, but not the admin still standing. I don't need a response, but I feel like I've been too quiet through all of this, and needed to speak my mind. Best of luck, everyone.

To shake things up, we as a league have agreed to a 2-round random snake draft of the players currently listed on vup & avid's rosters. During this time, each player will have a 12-hour time limit to add a player from avid or vup's roster and drop a player from their own roster. The player from their roster that is dropped is available to everyone immediately after she is dropped. The league member can choose to pass their turn if they choose not to add/drop anyone. These add/drops WILL count towards your add/drop total, and your roster must remain in compliance after your turn. Once this "draft" is over, the remaining players from these rosters will become eligible for any add/drops. If after a day or two, we are not more than half-way through the draft, we will reassess and possibly do a smaller (4 or 6 hour) window during the daytime hours. We will plan to begin this draft at 8am CT tomorrow (9/23), and a 3rd-party will post the draft order as soon as they can. These are the available players: Brooke Nuneviller, OH, Oregon Lydia Bartolo, OH, Denver Paola Santiago, OH, UIC Taylor Borup, OH, Oregon Klara Zarnovicka, OH, FAU - FRESHMAN Anna Stevenson, MB, Louisville Allie Holland, MB, PSU - FRESHMAN Azhani Tealer, MB, Kentucky Heather Gneiting, MB, BYU Nicklin Hames, S, Nebraska Lily Heim, S, SMU Chloe Scheer, L, UCF Ciera Pritchard, S, CSU Hannah Grant, L, Michigan Elizabeth Junhke, OH, South Dakota Taylor Wolf, S/OPP, Marquette Polina Shemanova, OH, Syracuse Aiko Jones, OPP, Louisville Morgahn Fingall, OH, Tennessee Sophia Davis, MB, JMU Candelaria Herrera, MB, Iowa St Amaya Tillman, MB, Louisville Whitney Bower, S, BYU Danielle Boss, S, Boise St Kendra Wait, S, Creighton - FRESHMAN Kami Miner, S, Stanford - FRESHMAN Alyssa Ortega, L, SFA - FRESHMAN Marta Pecalli, L, Tulsa - FRESMAN vballfreak808 vballfan17 eazy huskerpower Kingsley ay2013 agean09 trojansc Hawk Attack Fight On! vbsam16
