I would assume Crenshaw is not really an option at OH for this match. I think we have to assume she's been primarily working as a libero all season. Now that it looks like they have made the switch to Bays, if that sticks, I presume they will work in practice to make Crenshaw an option at OH again.
They are going to need OH options if Drechsel has to heal up. (I'm presuming here that the reason she has been less effective and is now out is because she's dealing with something.)

I don't know what it is about WSU, but they are my LEAST favorite team. They have sassy/bitchy attitudes and they intimidate refs and argue points more than any other team. I know I am not the first to say that, and have heard they are not a friendly team either. My understanding is that it stems from the coaching style and atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, they have some great players (Magda, Pia, Hannah), but that doesn't mean they are good sports and fun to play with/against. i feel like the perception of wsu is coded with sexism. people are not willing to have a female be that dominant. there are tons of male coaches that have similar reactions to plays yet no one ever calls them bitchy. had refs stumble way too long on a call that id question if they were even paying attention to the play, id be annoyed to. especially after grotes directional block was definitely a holding the ball. |

Is Grote going to get set so much like Sybeldon did in 2015 lol Marin is not Lianna, but like Lianna, it has been really enjoyable to watch how she has improved since being a freshman. |
