Michigan will improve, they always do. Maybe not this year. The team has some serious, fundamental flaws. can anyone say Bad Coaching??

Nebraska will rise as they always do Stivrins is a huge difference maker for this team and Hames just trusts her to make something happen. Hames serving was on. Nebraska hasn’t looked this good since the Creighton win just a solid all around performance tonight

Cook said that Lauren would come back at 105% of what she was before the surgery. Better. Stronger. Faster. (For those who are old enough to remember the $6 M Man.) we can rebuild her .... Stirvins (aka Jamie Summers, the bionic woman.) Her performance was stellar. You could visibly see her confidence rising with every set. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

Her play has a great impact, but her presence seems to elevate the rest of the team. They *all* looked more confident than any time so far this season.
Also, from Coach Cook's post game presser: Having Lauren in the lineup lets Kayla go back to her natural position.

I'm not saying Nebraska was playing the Olympics Team, but, based on the numbers and what you saw, in this match the Huskers looked better than they have since.......?

I've not made a study of this. But, the way they confidently scrambled and successfully worked together to plug holes made me think I may not have seen this level of play since the championship team of 2017. I know it's only one match and the opponent was not the best in the nation. However, IMO this was delightful team play.

The past two teams were high error, especially on offense. As a match though, from start to finish, this was probably the best and most complete since 2017.

line up I would love to see vs michigan state--> Libero= Rody Outside hitters= Ally B and Lindsay K Right side hitter= Whitneyyy Setter= Hames Middle hitter= Stivirns and Cathy Defense Specialists= Akana and Knuckles Serving Specialists= Lexi Sun I like Whitney, too, but I don't see any reason to force her in just when the lineup is starting to work well together.
Cook has said many times that at least one of his OHs needs to play all six rotations, and Madi is filling that role very well now. You'd bench her right after a performance of 11 kills (.455), 2 BAs, and 7 digs? Plus, why move Lindsay to OH just when she is starting to get comfortable at OPP?
