Bring it! We ready! I hope. Both teams need a little more hope than usual this time, but they seem to be coming into form at the right time.

I think penn state had the same scenario the huskers had…breaking in several new pieces..albeit penn state’s was the transfers they brought in while the huskers’ were freshmen. Friday night will be “very interesting” |

While the road match vs Stanford was vs a top opponent, the environment is not Even close to what it will be Friday. |

I noticed the Lexi from the sidelines isn't very participatory in the "group fun" going on with the rest of the bench-she seemed off in her own world. Or am I looking into it too much?

Yes, you’re looking into it too much. While I agree with you, his observation isn’t unfair. Also to be fair, Much of the sideline silliness is a little harder for a 23 yr old to get into. From What I know, she’s handling her situation professionally. I still say at some point this season she is going to factor Heavily in a big match. |

From What I know, she’s handling her situation professionally. I still say at some point this season she is going to factor Heavily in a big match. Batenhorst ain’t exactly lighting it up. She’s having a problem terminating, they’re hiding her in SR which leaves Kubik and Rodríguez passing two, and she’s not the blocker Sun is. It wouldn’t surprise me for Lexi to win back the spot eventually. |

The Rec Hall crowd will be a new challenge for the freshman. Someday I hope to go there myself. We looked so good Friday--a little out of sorts Sunday--but Friday will be a big test. |

In the four matches post Louisville when they attempted to move to a “set lineup” she is hitting over .250 I believe, and maybe more importantly has only 6 errors in about 70 attempts. Agree she has struggled some to kill balls, but her upside is pretty good and her low end has just been better than Suns. We are however in agreement on Sun factoring in at some point. |

Too much, the bench players (knowing they are bench players) practice their routines and actually work on that stuff in the beginning of the season. I'm guessing Lexi doesn't know the routines/wasn't invited to practice because they weren't planning on her being on the bench lol. |
