Welp. I’m not sure what to say. Maybe the Gophers can clean it up and salvage this match.

Miyabe to MB please. Why not? I can't believe I have to agree with this.

.095 after 2 sets and Samedy is starting to pull her punch after a few hard driven misses.
When your opponents are willing to 'go for it' you can't just pop the ball over to give them a hard swing.

Shaffmaster has to learn to set the middles. Also do we have any points from the back row?

I thought all the matchups in the Big Ten tonight were not going to be competitive. This isn't the way I thought. Maybe Gophers will channel their inner Penn State and take the next three.

Isn't that Hugh's entire philosophy - you don't try to terminate OOS balls; you wait for a good opportunity and rely on defense?

What is interesting is that I thought they overall looked better at the beginning of the season despite the tough schedule.
Landfair benefited from sitting for awhile due to injury and then Miyabe keeping the spot.
I would think Miyabe running a 1.5 even would be preferable at this point. She is not slouch at blocking in the middle.

If you had both Northwestern and the Gophers in a gym and were asked to pick out a starting line-up, how many players from Northwestern would you pick?
