The 4-10 team is playing like they're 10-4, and the 10-4 team is playing like they're 4-10.

Tom Black with all the right moves tonight: switching setters in the 2nd set. Subbing the freshman for Stivrins at the end.
Bird Kuhn, not so much. Maybe her bench is so thin there aren't any good moves to be made. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Hats off to the UGA back row and coaching staff. The passing and defense was sensational tonight and that made everything else click!

The 4-10 team is playing like they're 10-4, and the 10-4 team is playing like they're 4-10. Human beings are a wild card

I am genuinely curious what the attitude/mood is in the UGA locker room. This season has been a big (huge?) disappointment so far, though their upcoming schedule certainly could break nicely for them ... @ TAMU x 2 TENN x 1 AU x 2 MSU x 2 @ Bama x 2 @ KY x 1 Mizzou x 2 @ OM x 2 LSU x 2 Of those, I think UGA would be favored against Auburn, Bama, Mizzou, and possibly LSU given that it's at Stegeman. The MSU match could be a good test, too, since it's also at UGA. That's 8 or so wins, but not until getting past TAMU and TN, who could potentially run the Dawgs' record to 0-6 in conference. How are the Dawgs holding up so far is, I guess, my question. And can they see the easier schedule light at the end of the tunnel? Over in the "Hot Seat" thread I predicted 10 SEC wins for the Dawgs before conference played started. They really have a favorable schedule, only playing UF, USC, UK, Arky and TENN once. Of course the drawback is just a few chances to get Top 50 RPI victories.

Well, tonight’s surprisingly easy win over a depleted TAMU squad tonight could start them on their way. I thought they looked really good tonight, much more like what I think many of us were expecting.
I’m left questioning Smilin’ Tom’s decision to stick with the Fr setter for as long as he did/has.

They did win the 1st set with the freshman in there. But it was definitely a good decision to switch when he did. I think the main reason Georgia played better last night was better back row play. I don't like to call out specific players, so let's just say he made the right lineup selection last night. He needs to stick with it going forward.

And that point 28 looked out but called in. Then TAMU with set point to follow.
2-1 TAMU leads
set 3 next!
