Oh my, a match up between arguably the two most up and down teams in the Pac-12. Any result from a 3-0 USC sweep to a Utah 3-0 sweep is possible IMO.

Those records must be cut and pasted from somewhere else, because those are not the teams' records.

Those records must be cut and pasted from somewhere else, because those are not the teams' records. Close. The logos were cut and pasted from prior game threads with either USC or Utah. The records came from one of those game threads and are from last week. I pasted the logos over the old ones and changed the name and colors to reflect USC and Utah. I use various elements from several threads but when I get interrupted or can't post bc my movement disroder flares, I can think I've finished some part that I haven't. In this case, the logos, names, arena, and colors (in the top grid) were done but not the records. Thanks for posting the records.

I agree this is a toss up. Now that USC is getting better I would expect it to be closer. I think Utah has shown more consistency with beating tough teams, so I'm leaning towards them in this one.

Dani Drews career-high in kills (33) and points (37) comes in the Galen Center, the last meeting between USC and Utah in Los Angeles.
Funny thing about that match, Dani Drews was 33-10-66 (.348). And it wasn't even the most impressive stat line in the match. There was a player who had *more* kills AND did so on a higher percentage. Lanier was 40-8-82 (.390).
Though, Utah won. It was quite the match with the Utes getting it done in 5 (25-19, 31-33, 23-25, 26-24, 18-16).

Utah up 2-0 (-22, -23)
USC went on a late run and had a swing to tie it at 23 in the 2nd set - Weske just missed wide. A couple tough set losses.

does SC have it in them to pull one of these sets out?

does SC have it in them to pull one of these sets out? The answer was no, Utah takes set 3 25-23 and the match 3-0

Utah wins it 25-23 in a really close sweep. Think they scored 4 in a row after SC was up 23-21 in the third.

Utah looked to have won the match, I thought they called a lift, but they called 4 contacts. Keller is challenging. Not sure I saw 4 contacts.
If it's called a replay, Utah still has match point at 24-23.
