RV Maryland vs. Northwestern
Friday, October 8, 2021 - 6:00 PM Central
Xfinity Center Pavilion - College Park, Maryland What’s that you say? Wildcats and Terrapins? On a volleyball court? How odd.  Okay, so. The Windy City Kitties are headed out to visit the Mid-Atlantic Turtles. On the surface these teams look sorta the same. They’re tied for second-to-last in the Big Ten, with records of 1-3. But Maryland’s conference victory is over Wisconsin, while Northwestern’s is over Rutgers. Also, Maryland has an actual winning record (13-3), whereas Northwestern…. not so much (6-9). This match contains some of my favorite players to watch, Northwestern’s Temi Thomas-Ailara and Maryland’s Rainelle Jones. Should be a fun time. In PersonTickets still available. Masks required. Volleyball is weird. Northwestern won by the right 6 points. Pablo win for Maryland.

Northwestern is another team that can compete with anyone when playing well. But then they can also lose to almost anyone, they just make waaaayyyy too many errors

Just thumbing back through this one. Unfortunate to see that Milan Gomillion was hit in the face pretty hard by an overdig swing at the end of the third set and did not return to the match.
