Start getting top 25 votes, expectation becomes higher and begin to feel the pressure rather than playing like the gritty underdog. It happens... What? who gave them a top 25 vote? Oh, you did... LOL Haha, only two weeks when they were one of four teams undefeated with a top 25 win…and still certainly looked reasonable after taking Kentucky to 5, but after two straight 3-0 losses to Florida they were out for me…however, they are still getting votes in AVCA!! |

And there lies the problem with the poll… coaches only look at the record and not the quality of play….

I missed this thread on Wednesday. LOL.
Not that anyone needs analysis 5 days later, but while OM has improved their ball control, they do not have an OH/OPP that they can ride if they are forced to play out of system, and the Hogs kept them OOS most of the night.
Stay tuned, soon I will be dropping my take on the UT vs UK national championship match. 😉🤣
