I saw that Marymount’s setter is going to Stanford. And that Swindle had Stanford has her #2 before deciding to go to TX. So that would’ve meant Hambly recruited six setters in five years. Can we just get a DS, my man? My understanding is that Xu is a Dunning recruit. Miner is a Hambly recruit (though she probably had some initial contact with Dunning / Corlett early on). Tufuga is a walk on. And Greene fell into Stanford's lap after decommitting from an Ivy League school. And Belardi is a beach player who will contribute indoors as a DS. I'm guessing only 2 of these players mentioned is on a vball scholarship.

I’m pretty sure Oglivie has 9 digs so far during this set

This is serious horse%*$#. Two terrible calls then a phantom net. That takes it from 22-21 Stanford to 24-19 Oregon. Edit: Actually 23-19 b/c the block call would have just been a replay.

I think we're getting an outside that will probably DS next year and another DS but I agree they have too many setters Would you have turned Miner or Greene down? Greene is a walk-on. Is Belardi ( Marymount setter) getting a scholarship? If she's a good player and a walk-on, why not? I guess for me it less about the number of setters (idc that they'll have 5) and more about the lack of DSs

Oglivie whew she’s digging everything this set I'd rather have her playing left back, but she's getting in the right position in middle back for some digs. Probably saving Stanford's butt this set.
