Idaho sending out thanks but no thanks e-mails this week. Could hear something soon. Maybe an SID error, but the 2022 roster shows Chris Gonzalez as the new HC at Idaho. No news release yet though. govandals.com/sports/womens-volleyball/roster |

During his time as an assistant Chris has coached in four NCAA Final Fours 1997-1999 and 2001, culminating in the first ever undefeated NCAA National Championship while at Long Beach State University in 1998, finishing the season a perfect 36-0.Gonzalez has trained two undefeated teams (35-0, and 34-0) to the NCAA national championship match. During that time Chris also assisted in the development of 15 NCAA All-Americans and 2 NCAA Players of the Year. After five successful seasons at Long Beach State University Chris joined the staff of the USA women’s national team. During his time with Team USA, Gonzalez was named head andassistant coach for several senior national teams including medalist at the FIVB World Championships, FIVB World Cup, FIVB World Grand Prix, and Pam American Games. |
