think twice, post once. This ain’t it FWIW the Akron site has a 404 error in place of Tom's Bio, and the Staff directory has TBA for all three coaching positions. I don't have any actual information here, but that is not usually a good sign. |

So Kent State is open, and Akron seems to be open. Is there a third opening in the MAC or is that it?

So Kent State is open, and Akron seems to be open. Is there a third opening in the MAC or is that it? Correct me if I’m wrong, but, Akron has only had two people on staff since Covid? My gut is that they will stick with that. Ohio and toledo still need to fill an ASST position, and Kent has money for three Other team in the MAC hat still is looking for an assistant is Wrights states? Here is an interesting deal. MAC has a requirement the volleyball should have two full time assistants. Akron is one of the schools not complying with that. |

Absolute legend. Go hit the beach, my friend. One of mervin's biggest regrets was turning down an invitation from Leonid to spend two weeks bouncing around Eastern Europe on a recruiting trip. I told him it'd eat my entire budget for the year and his response was, "who cares? I'll make sure you get three kids better than anyone you have." Should have taken him up on it. Also, when he was at Louisville, my boss was out on leave, so I was "acting" head coach for the night. We walked into the gym and he said, "where's _____?" When I told him, he looked at me like that velociraptor looked at Muldoon in Jurassic Park. |
