Did Oregon swap setters? I thought the last time I watched them that Ferreira was setting Mutiri I didn't see the WSU match, but earlier in the year when Robinson had COVID they went with Ferreira / Mutiri in a 5-1 and kept it there for a week or two before switching back. These are the pairings they've had "standard" for most of the past few years though

Huge comeback Oregon to take a lead here at 21-20. UCLA was up by 7 this set.

Jesus, May and Luper with some huge swings to side out here in crunch time. No one is stopping those.

Same rotation as the 7 point run in Set 2 agains the same serve. UCLA runs off a couple and now gets match point.

May closes it out for the sweep. Hard to be too upset as UCLA is the better team, but we were there with them, and there are just things that happen that make it hard for Duck fans to watch.

They honored the 2011 championship team tonight at this match.
That season I was a freshman at UCLA and when I first really started following college vb. That being my first season led me to have unrealistic expectations and a decade of headaches with Mike Sealy lol

That being my first season led me to have unrealistic expectations and a decade of headaches with Mike Sealy lol Didn’t most of us got fooled by him too? Actually he did a very very good job in his first year too. Went five against USC and Cal (they were good at that time), beat Stanford and unexpectedly finished third ( I think) in the conference. I remembered the UH fans were talking about how he should take over when Shoji retires. After the breakthrough and very lucky second year. Ucla only advanced to elite eight just once and missed the tournament TWICE

McCall could win the Pac-12 defensive player of the week. Has there ever been a non-libero who has won the award for her digging stats?
