She is being targeted on serves and is not digging hard hits very well. Yes, passers shank her and there I agree, but when we are struggling with ball control like this something needs to change, and Ulmer does nothing different to mix it up. He must have no confidence in his bench. You can't put an expectation of perfection. There is no one on the bench who would pass better. Morse would.

Folks on this forum loved hating on Raskie. If only they knew how bad it could get. Raskie was great her senior year in a 5-1. She was not a good setter in the 6-2; had a big mentality shift and it took her a while to "own" the role even her senior year. Totally agree, but I blame the coaching. Oregon's 6-2 made no sense the year before Raskie took over in a 5-1, IMO.

11 straight sets lost. Something needs to change for the Ducks.

What has changed for USC? They seem to be getting it together after a slow start to the season.

No Ducks hitter with more than 5 kills yet.

Well, jj got his wish. McClellan in at L2 for Borup.

What has changed for USC? They seem to be getting it together after a slow start to the season. Unlike the Ducks, they are willing to change pieces around in the their lineup, and have now found a perfect fit for all parts of the court.

What has changed for USC? They seem to be getting it together after a slow start to the season. Tuaniga > Lazaro at setter. Owes > Hammons / Scully at OH. Scully -> ?? -> Scully for L. (can't remember who they tried when Scully was at OH). It's been a WIP, but they have a big bench, and I think Keller has figured it out. But we'll see.

Well, jj got his wish. McClellan in at L2 for Borup. Yes, thank you Ulmer. Something different finally! Not sure if this is the answer, but how will we know if we don't try it out.

I just laugh when announcers say "tooled the block" on plays that were clearly pure luck, like that one USC just got. The Oregon-blocked ball was deflected by the tape and *still* just barely missed the line, but he called it as if USC deliberately did that.

Does she have an extra year left because of COVID? If so, will she stay or transfer? I assume she’s gonna go pro and play for Spain. But no insider knowledge. She had an offer to play pro this past year... but she turned it down to play for USC would guess that she doesnt turn it down again
