I quite agree, this will be a barn burner. However, I am apprehensive as to whose barn they are going to burn down. GBR (Nebraska Red) We have plenty of barns here. Even red barns. You can burn one down. In exchange for Sets 2, 3 and 4. There is a particular red barn on the north side of I-80 between Lincoln and Omaha that I would love to see burned to the ground.

I understand that these conference networks (B1G; Pac12; SEC; etc.) need to make money. But it's a real shame for the sport that this match - arguably the biggest match of the season so far - is not on a national network like ESPN or ESPNU even. (And please, no replies with tutorials on ROKU or Sling. I have enough crap already and as much as I'd like to watch this, it's just not worth the extra effort/$$$ even if you do tell me how easy/economical it is.) I felt much the same way Sunday with the Louisville-Pitt match on the ACC Network.

Volleyball seems to be the Rodney Dangerfield of sports as far as the TV networks go. ESPN, with the exception of a few matches on ESPNU, only seems to be interested in the final rounds of the NCAA tournament. It's time this changes. If it doesn't, pickleball coverage will soon surpass the volleyball coverage by ESPN. And I am not joking.

It’s the fastest growing sport in the coveted K-5 demographic.

Now lets not be burning down any barns. They are disappearing quick enough. I have two on the farm. Just finished the second one. They are a source of pride.

Looks like the B1G Network brought in the A-team for this match. If Larry Punteney is on anyone's "A" team, I'll take the opposition.

He’s not my fave, for sure, but I think he’s improved a lot as a volleyball commentator. He does a lot of matches for BTN, and he’s learned a lot of non-Nebraska players, coaches, and some of their benches. He’s also good on challenges. He’ll say whether something looks in/out/inconclusive. Too many times I hear from commentators, “I don’t knowww, guess we’ll seeee.” 🙄 He must be reading the “message boards”.

Larry's not too bad. Audrey is my favorite announcer-wished she called more games.

My wife and I usually take two ballroom dance lessons back to back because the studio is over and hour away. We had settled for a single lesson tomorrow (Tuesday) night, but I just got a text from our dance instructor saying he had opened up lessons on Wednesday night for us. ☹️ Guess we’ll be recording the match and trying to avoid spoilers til we’re able to watch it. Yow! Sprain your ankle. LOL Y’all are making me laugh. Interestingly, I think my wife is more bummed than I about missing the match live.

Larry is better when he is not with Kathi. He and Salima do a good job together.
