LMU has outhit Pepperdine in this match, but they’ve been aced 8 times and had trouble with several more serves.

Pepperdine has doubled up LMU in the 3rd, 16-8. LMU takes a TO, and I’d say this match isn’t just about over.

LMU comes all the way back to within 1 point at 22-23, had a great chance to tie it up on a long rally, but it went through their block and down. Pepperdine with a match point leading 24-22. LMU is challenging net touch though, so we'll see. Lots of challenging at the end of this set. Call stands.

Ahrens gets a second chance in this rally and makes LMU pay as she hits a short blooper for the kill to win the 3rd set and the match. Pepperdine 25-23, and 3-0.
LMU had chances again at the end of that third set, but after clawing their way back into it, they can't make the final push.

Even without Geissberger, LMU hit .229, Pepperdine hit .158 for the match, and yet Pepperdine swept.
I hope that Geissberger is OK. It was clear in previous matches that they were trying to spare her if possible. It seems like they would have put her in this match if at all possible.
