USC ahead early in the second, up 13-9. Botkin doing better in the second set, but Denny still leading in kills for USC.

USC lead that whole set until WSU stole it at the end 25-23. USC not hitting very effectively today. Only hitting .117.

What happened today USC? Where was that fight and battle you had against WA? Maybe that took it out of you.

WSU won 3-0 and go to 8-4, tied for 3rd with Utah. WSU was lead by their middles, Williams and Magda each with 12 kills. As a team they hit .271. USC lead by Botkin with 8 kills. Three other hitters, Weske, Owes, and Schirmer all hit negative. Serve receive was a big struggle today for USC it seemed.
