How did UCLA get so high in the rankings? All of a suddenI like and they are 7th. Luper their freshman OH is playing like a superstar along with Mac May and Co.

Don't think you have to be a UW fan to be rooting for Utah. Everyone in the PAC, except for the 27 UCLA VB fans, will be rooting for Utah. I'd imagine everyone outside the PAC will be as well, because they'd love to see zero PAC teams getting seeded. Utah has home court advantage, but I don't see a Utah sweep if Makin' Hay May and Super Dooper Luper are playing. Ok PAC victim complex. Are there really fans who want to see "zero PAC teams getting seeded?" I doubt even the most passionate B1G fans want that? I'm from "outside the PAC" and I want UCLA to win the rest of their matches because I'd like to see them be seeded as highly as possible. This team's upside is huge, and I think they can challenge the top of the ACC, Wisky, Texas and UK. I want to see those match-ups -- more losses means we see those match-ups earlier, which is just less fun! A clear "favorite" in the PAC is good for the PAC, IMO.

After last week's win over U-Dub I heard they've added another fan so that puts them at 28. UCLA is hitting on all cyclinders this year -- leading the Pac-12 AND expanding their fan base!

Ok PAC victim complex. Are there really fans who want to see "zero PAC teams getting seeded?" I doubt even the most passionate B1G fans want that? Speaking as an ACC fan, I don't really care that much, one way or another. PAC fans used to be more obnoxious many years ago, but with the B1G clearly eclipsing them overall, they seem to have collectively calmed down and become less annoying. Also, this train wreck for the PAC has been known since OOC concluded, and mentally they have adjusted to its inevitability. More so than AVCA has, apparently.

Speaking of OOC, the beatdown Georgia Tech got from UCLA has turned into a pretty good loss for the Jackets. A rematch in the tournament would be interesting.

As fun as it is watching the PAC beat up on itself, UCLA has been especially impressive as of late and deserving of a seed (as things stand now). Wash has been questionable at times but also a solid team with a solid resume that could earn them a seed. Not sure why any volleyball fan regardless of conference would want to see no PAC seeds, unless they want the tournament to be as messy as this entire season has been. Who am I kidding, odds are the tournament will be messy, maybe this is finally Florida's year. Rather than being a high ranked team and getting beaten, maybe they'll come in unranked and take the whole thing. Wouldn't that be a sight lol

Here are the PAC teams in the top 25 of the last AVCA poll: Washington(12), UCLA(13), Utah(16), Oregon(18), Stanford(19), Washington State(21) And here are the top 25 PAC teams according to the latest RPI futures: UCLA(12), Utah(23), Washington(25) Like I said, it's a train wreck.

So after Utah beats UCLA, how far will UCLA far in the polls? They had a big jump by beating Washington, will they fall just as far by losing to Utah?

I really like "Makin' Hay May" and "Super Duper Luper," but I changed the spelling of "Dooper." BTW, I expect Luper to be FOY in the PAC. Isn't it unlikely that the POY would come from the same team?

I am rooting for them. Not generally a UCLA WVB fan (although they are right behind Arizona and Stanford in my WBB fandom), but I think they are pretty awesome and I always root for the Pac-12 to represent. I don't want to see everyone unseeded in the tournament.
