Michigan has some very dangerous OHs, but PSU has superior MBs. It's a toss-up.

Michigan is capable of playing like a Top 10 team, but they have difficulty sustaining that level throughout the course of a match. Ball control will be key for both teams. Michigan does not have much depth, so if any of the pins are misfiring it could be a quick match. May Pertofsky has been in a bit of a slump; her error/ace ratio has ballooned and Michigan really needs to score in her service rotation in order to compete. Hoping the team can pull it all together in Rec Hall. Go Blue!

Pertofsky is out in a boot; that is very bad news for Blue. She hurt herself on match point last weekend against Iowa but it didn’t seem serious at the time.

Jones keeps trying that cross court shot and Hampton keeps digging it.

Michigan takes the first set 25-22. Murray more than holding her own in place of Pertofsky. Go Blue!

I seriously don't know what to think about Penn State. I thought they were amazing at MN and Wisconsin. Not sure if it was just a one-weekend thing or not.

99% of PTW went with Penn State. They are currently down 0-1 and trailing early in the second set. Maybe they will turn it around with all that talent?

I seriously don't know what to think about Penn State. I thought they were amazing at MN and Wisconsin. Not sure if it was just a one-weekend thing or not. I was just thinking the same thing. Great matches at Minnesota and Wisconsin and then they lose at home to an Illinois team that had an 18 hour turnaround from Rutgers to Happy Valley. And now at home so far tonight. Doesn't add up. They are definitely in danger of moving on the wrong side of the seeding conversation if they lose tonight.
