Fun fact: I believe this will be the first match in the history of the series where Tennessee is ranked higher than Florida in the AVCA Coaches Poll. In the rally-scoring era (since 2001), the teams are 4-4 when both are ranked, with Florida having the higher rank each time. From 1991 to 2000, Florida was ranked in every meeting while Tennessee was not. And neither team was ranked in the meetings between 1984 and 1990. Still, UF in four.  |
