Another tight set lost after having set point. And, more sketchy setting from Tuaniga in crunch time.

Utah wins set #4 -23 and wins the match
USC now 10-13 and must win 5 of the last 6 (Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford and UCLA) to qualify for the playoffs

Another tight-set loss. USC had their chances yet again and just couldn't transition.

USC losing to COL was the nail in their coffin. Utah winning today was expected. USC will not qualify for the tournament imo, sadly for them.

USC has lost a lot of tight matches. I just want to see Botkin in the tourney again before she leaves.

I just want to see Botkin in the tourney again before she leaves. They would need to go 5-1 in the next three weeks, with matches at Oregon and OSU, and home v. Arizona, ASU, Stanford, and UCLA. Frankly, 2-4 is a much more likely outcome than 5-1. Even that that would only just put them barely above .500, and would be no guarantee of making the tournament. But anything less than 5-1 makes them outright ineligible.

(My kid is sitting near them at the SLC airport...said they don't seem too down.)

I really hope next year with the top recruit class in the country we can finally see what brad Keller brings. I’m excited

Hopefully next year Keller will remember to schedule an even number of matches. If they had just one more win (or one fewer loss) OoC, they would only need to go 4-2, which would be a lot more feasible than 5-1.
