SKT tried to set O’Neal OOS and clearly she’s not used to that from Jhenna, still got the kill tho Texas up 23-14

Texas closes out the match 25-13 in the third, 3-0.
Hits .448 versus .111 for OU. 7 aces, 11 service errors for Texas, but EIGHT of those service errors were in the first set. Glad they tightened that up. Texas finishes with 9 blocks.

Surely JE has another hitter on the bench that he could play. I said the same thing. I guess Fields thought she would be good enough to go but you could see her breathing deeply, sniffling, and coughing every time the camera zoomed on her. I too have terrible allergies and I always feel close to death around this time of year so Skylar is a real trooper because I could never. |

Logan through 2.5 sets: 18 kills on 25 swings, hitting .680. 1 ace, 1 block, 5 digs. Love it those fantasy stats looking nice |

Glad to see Texas clean it up in games 2/3; SR was a struggle in game one. Oklahoma didn’t play inspired volleyball but a good way to restart after the Baylor loss. Still significant work to do with serve receive and not clawing back when facing a tougher team.

For those without LHN and awaiting the upload to YouTube:
1. The yellow card for Jerritt was for arguing with both judges about a foot fault. Asjia goes up on the right, kills the ball and one foot lands on the line under the net, off the court. Down judge calls foot fault. Jerritt is up arguing that it didn't affect the play. Down judge unwilling to change the call. Jerritt then has Logan argue it for him with up judge. Up judge doesn't want to overrule his down judge. More gesturing by Jerritt at both officials. Yellow card.
2. At one point in the first set, the ball is coming over to Logan in the back, she yells MINE (I could hear it from the seats) but SKT is so intent on chasing the ball down for a....backward bump set that her hands run into Logan's hands and the ball falls. SKT immediately yanked for Jhenna.
3. In set 3, after just a few points, it looks like Jerritt is suddenly going to run a 6-2 with a double-sub that includes SKT. But no, it takes me a while to realize that she's staying in the whole game.
4. I lost count after 5(?) the number of times OU players hit into the pin
5. One DS on OU's side kept having service errors....looking up the stats, I see it was number 9, Davidson with 5 service errors. My wife kept asking me, "Why aren't they pulling her? She's awful" I said, "She's their Sydney Peterson"
6. Before the game I saw that Texas was #3 behind Baylor and OU in blocks in the Big 12. Where was that OU block?
7. I thought we were bad at serve receive (5 errors), but OU proves me wrong (7)
8. I was told to look out for Wilson. Meh, okay led the team in kills. But nothing that makes you take notice like the player they had last year Diouf*. That gal stood out.
9. We don't know the OU players very well, but my wife remembered Paige Anderson and said, "I remember her. Wait, why is she playing so bad?" (Super Senior)
10. Gonna wait for the youtube upload to check out that foot fault. Around the 22-20 point.
*I knew Diouf transferred after her freshman year to Pitt. And Pitt is playing so well, I went to look up her stats to find that she never joined the team. Instead, she's playing pro in France. I guess she did a "Mulual" on herself
