With Colorado on the verge of getting a 2022 NCAA Tourney bid, they are saying goodbye on their court to 7 players today against Utah.
Good news is that it looks like Hadrych might be coming back next year - which means CU's successful OH combo (Tabron & Hadrych) will be back with more experience and more options. Hadrych's overall hitting % and numbers have gone up considerably in November and would rival all the OH's in the PAC (.310%, 3.6 K/S, 2.14 Blocks/match). She is also a great blocker.
Losing DeLuzio, Hart, and Lougeay will be tough next year -- but CU is still bringing back 4 starters next year and that will be a good foundation to couple AVCA High School All-American's and good talent coming in.

I'm not sure Utah will be able to contain the Buffs today ...

Updated the thread for 2023 with a new poll. Great 2022 season Buffs. Hope they can have another one in 2023. They will be losing a few key starters though. Need to replace/strengthen those areas.

Excited for next year. Defense/passing is a big question mark though, and middle might be thin.

Middle blocker grad transfer from North Carolina. COL needed an experienced middle, and they got just that.

Hey Buffs fans! Northern Colorado already posted their fall schedule and it looks like y'all play them that second week of preseason: Thursday, August 31 at 6 PM at Northern Coloradouncbears.com/sports/womens-volleyball/schedule/2023EDIT: And they also listed Charlotte and Xavier as other opponents they're facing in the "Buffs Invitational" in Boulder: Friday, September 1 at 4 PM - Northern Colorado vs. CharlotteSaturday, September 2 at 3 PM - Northern Colorado vs. XavierAlways a fun exercise to cobble together your team's preseason schedule based on other teams' early released schedules!

Anybody catch any of the spring scrimmages. Thoughts?
Roster for Fall:
OH: Hadrych-GR, Tabron-SR, Campbell-JR, Meller-RS SO, Jordan-FR OPP: Burilovic-FR, Dwinell-FR S: Simpson-JR, Finley-RS SO MB: Howard-GR, Kuehl-RS SR, Simkus-JR, Payne-FR L/DS: Riddle-SR, Torstenson-JR, Stepaniuk-JR, DeSensi-RS SO, Bolles-FR
Going to be interesting who gets the OPP spot, whether it be a freshman or an established OH; Libero also up for grabs. OH and MB seem obvious for starters, and got to think that Simpson has the edge over Finley for starting setter, since she set a lot last season. We will see.
