Turkey should host more often. Their fans are so fun! I think the FIVB is starting to pick up on the market in Turkey. It's great. Volleyball (especially women's) is extremely popular in Turkey. It was like this since the early 2000's but it sky rocketed since 3 years or so. This year's busy schedule with VNL, Olympics and European Championship only made it even more popular. This year's statistics for Turkey, the second most googled person is Ebrar Karakurt, 5th is Zehra Gunes. It was on the news couple weeks ago. Zehra has like over 1 million followers on instagram  |

On a side note, this color commentator, I think his name is Heynen, I hope he never commentates again on women's volleyball because he's horrible. He is so critical every single point, he takes the fun out of the game. He talked over interviews and literally didn't shut up for 1 second. Even in good rallies, or points he kept finding the mistake everywhere, which is helllaaaa annoying. the turkish broadcast was much better. |

curious, why was plummer subbed out??! Passing woes and too many hitting errors. Even Courtney got pulled at one point because she wasn't contributing on offense. Then, Wolosz was forced to feed Egonu who was terminating at an INSANE rate from sets 2-4. Then, she simply starting hitting the ball out, aiming for high hands. Cansu was playing brilliantly today. She was connecting well with everyone but MBH. Today was just Vakifbank's day! |

Vakifbank just has sooo many weapons, many of which have been playing together for multiple seasons now. If Cansu continues to play at that level, all bets are off. Plummer is only going to get better. I would have been shocked if she would have performed better than she did today. She did just fine IMO. Wolosz had a less than awesome day which was the difference maker. |

Vakif looked in control most of the match from their first contact to Haak. Conegliano did pretty well considering this feat coupled with how poor most of the team played. Im surprised this went 5. Wolosz was simply outclassed today… something you rarely see.
