so i got to looking at the schedule.... the wisconsin match is at 4:30 pm? wth TV. Plus, with the just brutal scheduling to go to West Lafayette the next night, that may not be the worst thing for the Huskers.

Forgot to mention I brought back the "Beat Penn State" shirt that I got as a student in 2018 (the Foecke dig carnival match).
Not to suggest some voodoo magic, but Nebraska hasn't lost to Penn State since I got the shirt.

By the way, and I hope the Badgers win out and it does not come to this, in the case of teams ending the season with the same amount of losses at the top of the standings, call the Rutgers matches forfeits or whatever, not no contests, and those teams are co-champs. Not sure what the rules are this season on that. In the B1G, the Rutgers matches vs Minnesota and Nebraska are forfeits, and the Gophers and Huskers are each credited with a win over Rutgers. The NCAA doesn't count un-played matches in determining your record or RPI for the purposes of the tournament. Because Rutgers' record is so bad, I'm pretty sure that having a victory against them is actually a net negative for RPI calculations. If that's correct, then NE and MN are better off having the forfeited match be considered a "no contest" by the NCAA.

Coach Cook very complimentary of the play of Penn State. He said the first game tonight was one of the best games he's seen in 20 years. He might not swear to that in court, but he was pleased with a lot.

Lauren was a beast on the block tonight. Tbh might be her best blocking match I’ve seen

Lauren was a beast on the block tonight. Tbh might be her best blocking match I’ve seen Coach Cook agrees. He said he thought it was her best blocking night in a post match interview.

It’s a bummer to get a match docked from the schedule, but having senior night after the way the Devaney felt tonight was just right. Agree, Huskers need to stay hungry.

IMO offense would be better if they can get Caffey more opportunities. She is super athletic who does not require a perfect set to score. Like how Krause and Lauerenstein allowed to hit on both left and right. We used to see Sun more on the right, like that too. Mix it up.

“She doesn’t even go here” whenever Rollins or Fitzpatrick serves.
That may be the funniest thing I've ever seen in a crowd.
I've been liking the "I'd Turn Back if I Were You" road hazard sign.

What the hell Penn State.. you imploded. Good job Nebraska. Stivrins with the crazy eyes on Hames' block. And even crazier eyes for what looked like an "F yeah!" after. Hysterical!
