Well UCLA snatched that set 25-21 off some good serving..but also some bad passing by ASU.

Well UCLA snatched that set 25-21 off some good serving..but also some bad passing by ASU. ASU made a lot of attack errors in the second half of that set too. They did really well in the first half. Their hitting percentage for the set was .143 ETA: The announcer said that two (returning) seniors told Tomasavic just before the season started that they weren't returning. (1 to nursing school, 1 to play pro.) I didn't know that. That would have made the early matches tough for ASU |

ASU pin hitters are getting some bad sets that are too far off of the net. Agree. The first set, UCLA had some bad sets for a while. Now it seems to be ASU. It's one reason Cyr and Isanovic are struggling now. |

From mid teens on the first two sets, ASU then struggles. UCLA on a 5-0 run, up 20-16.

Close 3rd set. Lead changes back and forth. ASU trying to force a 4th. UCLA holding a lead 20-18. ASU T/O.

Well..just like the 1st and 2nd, UCLA finishes the 3rd set strong. Great serving and defense just too strong for ASU to overcome. They win 3-0.

UCLA lead by May with 16 kills and Dodson with 10. Great numbers for Dodson. They outdug and outaced ASU. ASU lead by Isanovic with 13 kills. No other hitter had more than 5. Needed other hitters to step it up, but UCLA defense just didn't allow it.

Dodson has been on fire offensively recently
At the beginning of the season Mac May said look out for Dodson. She will have an amazing season.
