Do we know which COL players are graduating? Announcer said Deluzio will be back. COL will be happy about that. I believe it's 3 as of now that decided not to come back for a Super Senior 5th (or 6th) season....as of now. Ewert, Hart, and DeProsse. I believe they all can come back if they want since the COVID season doesn't count on eligibility (hence DeLuzio coming back). As we know, any of those 3 can still change their mind before next season (i.e. Dani Drews deciding almost last minute to come back). Hart has had trouble killing balls with all of her hand injuries. She can block and is efficient on her hits, but she has tipped A LOT this season and has gotten tooled a lot with her banged up-hand(s) that haven't had as much block coverage when all taped up and awkward. Sometimes it looks like she only has 2 fingers up on one hand when she go up to block and all these fingers are taped together. It's not just simple taping you see on many blockers. She is heavily taped and multiple fingers. That makes a difference in getting good soft blocks. I don't think it will be a huge loss to lose her as of late, but it will be a loss if they don't have someone that can be as consistent as her. Taylor Simpson seems to be a great setter on placement and style. Not sure on her blocking and defense yet. I haven't been impressed with Ewert's placement the last couple seasons (she actually sets pretty well on a faster tempo, but the hitters don't seem to like it based on their hitting choices). She can block and has a great dynamic on the court. Setting/hitting connections just haven't been there like it it has her first 2 years. Floor defense has been okay, but nothing great. So...my point is that if they both leave, I don't think it will be big losses in quality for the team as some may think. DeProsse has never had much court time at all. If DeLuzio was also leaving, then I would say that we see a decline in the team...but Colorado has some quality players coming in too and current players should be healthier and play better. With all this said, Hart and Ewert are both are such nice people and dedicated players ...that it will be weird to not see them on the court for Colorado anymore. Agreed with this summary. Ewert would do better with the Ducks, who like to run a fast offense, but she may just decide to be done with volleyball. We will see if she enters the transfer portal or not.

Wanted to mention that Colorado just released its preview article for this week's matches (https://cubuffs.com/news/2021/11/23/volleyball-buffs-close-out-season-at-utah.aspx), and they're saying the 3 seniors being honored on Senior Day are "Jenna Ewert, Zoe Neverdowski and Taylor deProsse ", so looks like Meegan Hart may be planning on returning (unless someone thinks/ knows she's transferring somewhere else)? Hard to not be happy with potentially having a 3 year starter for CU coming back!
