CSUB is still up there with Hawaii. The pressure is off them after winning the 2nd set. I feel like Hawaii is playing "catch up". Catching up to CSUB with their aces and blocks.

I think Johnson can do it. It’ll just take a ton of training. Curious how much RAM is willing to bet on that. I think MJ was the best passer of the 2021 recruits outside Ikenaga. She won’t know until the spring rolls around and she starts training her to take those roles. I think the things that are apparent is that she didn’t play at a high level club e.g. frantically setting a ball to the opposing middle and not swinging at high hands when OOS. |

I wonder what RAM's game plan was with sitting out Wagnor and BVS. Did she want to rest them before a hard match against Cal Poly? It makes sense that she would want to try that, but its not working so they should be in the game.

This has got to be the dumbest decision-making the Hawaii coaching staff has ever made. Why would you keep your 2 starting OH on the bench? You not only lose fire-power and experience but you mess with the chemistry between the starting 6. Hits that would normally be dug are falling and passing is horrific. And now CUSB has confidence and is playing toe-to-toe with Hawaii. If we lose, you can thank the coaching staff and kiss your NCAA hopes goodbye.

Even if Wagnor is not having a loud offensive night in games, she is still needed for her defense. I think this was an unnecessary move by RAM.

Wags is only playing backrow? Johnson hitting at about 30% still so I don’t think Wags is needed for front row duties though I hope she’s ready for CP tomorrow. |
