On Friday in Marquette’s 3-0 win over Georgetown, Werch went down with an apparent knee injury. Theis said following Saturday’s match, the team is still checking with doctors on her status heading into next weekend’s BIG EAST Tournament. |

oh no Yeah, some other girls are gonna have to step up BIG TIME if she can't go! Vanden Berg needs to... I feel like she played a lot better last year than this.. it would be nice if pre-injury Lines was able to.. but I think thats a long shot |

I think her season is done. 😢 Marquette will be down two starters heading into the tournament: Vanden Berg and Werch. Vanden Berg suffered a season ending knee injury in early November while Werch suffered a knee injury in Marquette’s 3-0 win over Georgetown last Friday. |

UConn is a capable dark horse. They have BE tournament experience and have beaten Creighton. But they do not have the star power of Salima.

I got excited cause I thought maybe Salima was going to commentate the final (which she might) but she's almost assuredly there for Nebraska-Wisconsin (Kiana lives outside of Madison) |
