other than some general passing issues, I thought Florida played a solid match, Kentucky was just at another level.

I think Florida has improved over the last few weeks but Kentucky's improvement has been strong enough to move them into a team that could compete for a championship.

Gators giving KY so many free balls -- with the Cats ability to terminate this has to be cleaned up I’ve noticed Florida does this a lot over the years.. Think the strategy is to keep it in by sending over a free ball and have their block to do the work. IMO seems a little flawed at this point. |

Didn’t get to watch, but from the stats, the gators didn’t play badly… good blocking, plenty of digs. But Kentucky with 16 more kills through 3 sets? Oof. Particularly that second set. Advantage Florida with 7 blocks, but Kentucky with 20 kills to Florida’s 9? Eesh.
Maybe tomorrow will be better and Mary will get her 1000th kill! Here’s to hoping
