Though it probably won't be publicly recognized by the voting committee, I'm honored to be the PAC-12 Complainer of the Year. I do not take this achievement likely. It has not been an easy year to complain and whine in match threads about players, coaches, and referees but I'm eternally appreciative for the posters that have allowed me to do so. I hope to continue this tradition in 2022. Thank you! I thought Tomclen pretty much retired that award… This is why the voting committee won't publicly recognize the award -- a lot of political red tape behind the scenes.

Honestly pretty close to the actual final rankings besides Utah being underestimated and Cal being by far the worst in the conference

COY between Cook and Sealy? I know Keegan probably increased his chances after winning the conference again

Lord help us if it’s Sealy. His idea of coaching is subbing Lane in for Martin for a bigger block (never works, but he has to try to f things up) and having McCall/OPP swing left pin over the OH2/Jacob’s which helped serve up the L to USC with the cost being a piece of conference title.

It's a good year to give it to Cook.

It's a good year to give it to Cook. What's your reasoning to give it to Cook? I feel COY is mostly giving to the coach whose team exceeds expectation, except for the year when Stanford had a undefeated conference season. Washington, coming from having a final four season and not losing any significant starters, should win the Pac against this season. I think COY is either going to be Sealy and Greeny, even though I don't think Sealy is a good coach.

Beth Lanier also had a solid season, finished 3rd in PAC after losing an All American

Beth Lanier also had a solid season, finished 3rd in PAC after losing an All American Surprised Beth hasn't been mentioned. Not her best year but to still be in third in the Pac is very solid. Obviously having Drews helps out a ton but she's made the most (or close to it) of her personnel imo.

Cumulative 2014-2021 (12-11-10 etc. in points for places) Washington (88) Stanford (80) UCLA (69) Oregon (65) Utah (63) USC (62) WSU (52) Arizona (49) Colorado (48) ASU (28) OSU (25) Cal (17) Simply put, this is a SMH (misleading) post more deserving to be in a homer thread. If you subtract the 2021 COVID spring season where a deciminated Stanford team played a total of 10 matches (compared with UW's 24) and finished 11th (compared with UW's 1st) in the conference, then Stanford would be ahead of Washington. It is fair to say SU and UW have dominated the B12 the last 18--2004 being the first year ever that UW won the conference-- years, with 10 and 7 titles (including ties) respectively, even counting the almost universally asterisked spring 2021 year. Overall, Stanford has 19 conference championships; UW: 6. pac-12.com/sport/womens-volleyball (click link to RECORD BOOK).

There were no complaints about me doing it a couple of years ago, when it was showing Stanford on top. I simply grabbed the info from the years I've been doing this "final standings" thing, knowing that it's arbitrary. At the time I knew Stanford would be number 1 on the list, but I was actually more interested to see things like Arizona versus Colorado, etc. Stanford finishing 11th or whatever it was last year was completely unexpected.
