I hope so too, was looking forward to her being back in time for the tourney Yeah I mean I’m hoping since it’s second hand info maybe the relative or even the player from Pitt misunderstood the situation, because I was really hoping to see them go far this year, but without Lund I’m not even sure if they make it past PSU. Without Lund, they still have better pins than Penn St.

^ The doors are open for BYU, you mean. I meant for Purdue to host a regional. Unless you think Marquette could pull off a shocker too and the regional host trickles down to the third seed option.

Who ever plays their second round match first out of Florida, Pitt, Creighton and BYU. So probably Florida or Pitt.

Florida plays Thursday/Friday at 7:00 PM. I don’t understand why everyone seems to think Miami is going to beat Florida. I seriously doubt that will happen, even with some uncertainties going into the weekend.

I feel like this is like last year when everyone and their mother (including me) was certain UCLA was going to upset 16 seed BYU… and then BYU had their way with UCLA.

Uncertainties = which Florida team shows up on the court. I think it's more than that.

Miami-FL is solid and Florida certainly can be messy with its weaknesses despite it's physicality. Miami-FL isn't overly start-studded in any position on the court but they are consistent and manage to get things done. I really like Leao and Vach is pretty solid at the setting position. I'm still sad that Lukianova didn't use her last year of eligbility. Their losses are to the #1, #3, and #8 seeds, along with a 5-set loss to UCF. They beat everyone else, including the FSU team twice that UF lost to. I'm favoring Florida, but, a Miami-FL upset is very possible. I was hoping they would pull it off in 2017 in Strantzali's final go. They nearly pushed that match to 5.

I got my eyes on Stanford vs Minnesota, Oregon vs Creighton, and maybe Penn State vs Pitt (if Lund really is out, also I just really wanna see Hord vs Gray)
Also, I’m interested in seeing how Western Kentucky does against Georgia Tech if they meet.

Since Pitt/PSU and Florida/Miami both play at 7, do I have to choose which match will be done faster?

I voted for Ohio State just because I felt bad that they didn't have no votes...
