**The goal of the GJNCs National, USA, Liberty, American and Freedom is to showcase Region Teams and provide the opportunity for more Teams to participate at the GJNCs.** ** The goal of the GJNC added divisions is so that USAV can take more money in entry fees and work out better deals for stay and play hotels that provide a larger cut of the reservations while simultaneously not caring even a little bit what quality of officials they get as it will come down to convenience factor of going to Florida or Indy for most of them.**

What do you think about teams not changing sides? Should that be continued? There did seem to be less parent drama last season. While you won't have parents that think their cheering is far more important than the effort/efficiency on the floor and causing drama over it, they should absolutely keep switching sides. So many of these big venues and tourney locations truly do have good and bad sides even in the big convention center or warehouse venues that it makes a difference of a couple points. Not to mention even the strategy of certain wheel spins serving/blocking matchups that will take away advantages from better coaches who put thought into this to help gain any advantage possible for their team in a high leverage match.

As you mention, less drama for the people who feel an absolute need to sit on their kids side. Plus, it is easy for filming, no need to move the tripod and reset it. Ha! That's hilarious. I'm the Stanley Kubrick of volleyball dads. "Sir, do you mind moving over a bit? I'm recording."

I heard USAV will have a "purple" card for over-exuberant fans and may even carry a monetary penalty! Is this true? Definitely will be interesting to watch the crazy parents get purple-carded!

Arizona has had this for several years - 2017? 2018? There was talk pre-covid of implementing it fully but nothing happened last year with it. Looks like Carolina and Florida regions also have this in effect already

It would be nice though for coaches to have a special colored card to use against refs who absolutely refuse to make calls that are blatant. Not talking about 11's or extreme low level 16's but at qualifiers, nationals, open divisions. Seen far too many balls that are swiped at like shooting a jump shot in basketball not called as doubles or kids crashing into the net not called. 3 special colored cards in a tourney (both coaches must agree) and the ref goes back to local tourneys until they can call the game correctly and consistently.

This is not new, it has been in play as early as 2015. It was designed to keep wild parents at bay and in fact could enact a side out or loss of rally.

Or the ability to challenge the fact some of the officials just flat out do not know the rules, and when you have your captain politely try to explain the correct rule since the R1 won't talk to you, it typically comes with some smug response or waiving off the captain.

The dread purple card has been a thing in the Arizona region for the last three or four years. Hasn't made a difference.

Purple card right here💪🏽

Do that and the coaches will have to ref their own matches as there will not be enough refs.
