Gut bomb loss for Oregon... Almost unimaginable to think that multiple top 10 classes and #2 class, would end up having only fairly ok run in the tournament (so far). If Borup was healthy all year, I think post season momentum and run would have been way different. Devastating for the one dynamic player they have that truly deserves a better run! At least she had an Elite Eight year. I've been hearing for years about what Oregon would have done if Taylor Borup were healthy. At some point you just have to accept that they are the team their record says they are, and that Taylor has basically never been "healthy". Taylor was one of the only bright spots tonight. Thought Brooke was off and what the stats don’t show is all the digs she ordinarily makes and tonight didn’t. Lots of chisels and tools that no one was able to handle. A set over to the corner drops that should be a no-brainer for a solid middle back defender like Nuneviller. Missed serves at all the wrong times and by late in the first set they were all wearing it on their faces. KU was positive, smiling, having fun. Wow, what a difference attitude makes.

Wow, what a difference attitude makes. I find that being ahead on the scoreboard tends to cause a happy attitude more than the other way around.

This is a disappointing result for Oregon and its fans, but I watched the match where Kansas took Texas to 5, and the Jayhawks do have a considerable ceiling. Creighton had an impressive result, but they need to be on their game if they want to advance further.

She's a great six rotation OH, but she would be a first team AA libero. I just think she needs to see that that's her future. Her future is beach volleyball . why? i haven't seen her play beach, but she is not tall enough to be a Big and that means she's a Little... which means she needs to be a really good setter. Is she?

Wow, what a difference attitude makes. I find that being ahead on the scoreboard tends to cause a happy attitude more than the other way around. What came first the chicken or the egg? OR looked scared, tense, out of sorts, even frantic from the onset. KU had smiles and goggles from the get-go.

I didn’t see this match, but I’m not surprised by the outcome. Oregon was never reliable all season except against Stanford. Who switches out of a 6-2 right before the tournament? In fact the rest of the PAC is probably cannon fodder. Maybe UW can do something, but their bracket is tough. UCLA is missing a tire, and Stanford is just Stanford. I guess Utah has a shot, but the Card handled them on the Utes’ home ice. I’m not one of those conference boosters, so a crappy year is fine.

Best passing team in the land is done in the first round Turns out that passing doesn't matter that much if your setting isn't good.

If I'm looking at the stats correctly, Oregon had a brief lead at 11-10 in the first set. After that they never again had the lead - not even for one point - at any other time in the 3-set match.

Bien against Wait in the 2nd round? I am guessing they are very good friends. Crawford also played with them on their 2020 club team. When Bien and Crawford play like this - Kansas is good. Bien's OOS kills in set 3 was back breaking. Kansas kept London Davis on the bench until needed. Don't leave out Mosser. When she doesn't play, they have no balance. Everyone for Kansas played well. I thought Ferris had a good game. Mosser is always going to be valuable as a 6 rotation player who gets her 3 kills per set. For the most part this year - it is Bien or Crawford that have taken over sets in matches when they win or look really good. In part - they need the rest of the team to play good to keep them in system and that is on the whole team, but Bien and Crawford are the two that has to have the visible impact on those matches. If they are off - there isn't much to pick up the slack, when they both are on, they are dangerous.

I don’t ever want to hear a PAC fan whining about their draw in the tournament again. This.
