I had a bad feeling about this when I saw Michigan's preview that they posted yesterday where Mark Rosen said "I like our draw" and Mruzik was already mentioning the second round match. Ball State came out ready to play and Michigan might have thought they just needed to show up. Things looking a little better for Blue here in S2. |

My prediction: if Michigan wins this match, they'll take the opening set off of Louisville 25-15, and then lose the next three, -9, -11, -28. They will be up 23-17 in the fourth, and then lose 28-30.

Ball State was down 10-1, but they've outscored Michigan 16-10 since that point. This ain't over yet.

20-18 Michigan lead cut to two. T/O BLUE
No more timeouts left for either team (edit: ok so, ESPN lied. Michigan had another timeout left).
Michigan led 24-19, but BSU has saved three set points. 24-22 Michigan.

Michigan hangs on 25-22. Ball State is playing great floor defense. When Mruzik and Murray can't pass, things go south for Blue very quickly.
