Dayton proved they could go toe to toe with the big dogs in the spring tourney. They had a very tough non-conference schedule this year, facing Kentucky, Wisconsin (x2) and Michigan while experimenting with their lineup and setting options. They once again rolled through the A-10, barely getting threatened before getting a scare from Duquesne in the conference tourney semi-finals. This team has the tools to win today, but they will have to play very clean.

Marquette has done an amazing job coping without two major contributors.
Hopefully they've learned from their loss to Creighton in the Tourney finals and will be a little mentally tougher.
This should be a REALLY good game.

At least they have a settled lineup and Sandt seems to have grown into her leadership role. You know Peterson is going to leave it all out on the court. |
