Brown is going down. There is no way with the amount of UW power that Brown will win. Congrats getting into the tourney.

Yes, hoping the vball team and coaching staff is getting tested. Do not want them spreading it to the other teams in this sub-regional. Getting tested is a lot more important then this Sub-Regional. We all know how close knit athletes are from the different sport programs. |

I really wish the articles would mention if they'd been vaccinated.
I have no respect for anyone who puts their team or others at risk because they aren't very intelligent.

Seattle Times:
"A UW spokesperson told The Seattle Times on Thursday the entire Husky roster and coaching staff is fully vaccinated."
This is in reference to the UW men's basketball team.

The NCAA should have the Washington Volleyball team forfeit their match with Brown, due to the outbreak of Covid within one of their Athletic teams. Not very smart University of Washington Athletic Department. You should face a penalty for not taking precautions. Why jeopardize the rest of the teams in this Sub-Regional, by playing in this Sub-Regional. A person's well-being is a lot more important then any volleyball match.

All students at the UW are required to be vaccinated. (Although I presume there are the usual exceptions for documented medical and religious reasons.) |

I agree, this is ridiculous, the Wahine are scared. Pathetic. %*$# or get off the pot but don't use COVID to do it. Seriously? I take Covid very seriously. Guessing the UW Athletic Department, do not take it very serious. They take playing a match, or whatever sport game, over human health and well-being. |

By the way, it is also in the Los Angeles Times. It is making the UW Athletic Department look pathetic and stupid, if they allow the UW Women's Volleyball team to participate in this Sub-Regional.
